Peplo references nuances and perspective- believing that none of the pieces of history we have been told is ever black and white. It plays on the idea of shading, with its base as a solid block colour, which is then wrapped and draped in layers of transparent organza, giving it a rather sensual effect, and at the end, changing the colour of the skirt from what it was at the beginning. Pearls are then hand-embroidered on to create droplet-like effects on the skirt. To continue the play on symbolism and narratives, the entire skirt is neatly packaged together with a pleated waist-belt, and a bow that wraps around the waist asymmetrically.
 
Worn with the Rhoa top, which features a stylised shirt collar, dropped shoulders, and layered organza cuffs, an Óasi hallmark. At its heart lies an intricate hand-embroidered motif of pomegranates, arranged in a wheel that evokes the eternal rhythm of the circle of life, and the idea of rhythm and pattern. This symbol, rich in cultural and mythological resonance, becomes the focal point—a delicate counterpoint to the garment’s tailored precision. The interplay between its structural refinement and the embroidery’s organic intricacy speaks to the tension between the tangible and the ephemeral.
