The Dikymia Corset draws from the movement of the ocean and its waves. It is built on a fully boned foundation, creating a structured, sculpted silhouette. Overlapping front panels sit atop this base, designed to reference waves meeting and folding into one another.
 
A checkered fabric runs through the corset, reflecting the idea of the cage that appears across the collection. A ruffled edging traces alongside all the edges, to add definition. To tie back to the idea of the asymmetry of waves and the ocean, a chiffon drape wraps across the shoulder, micro-pleated and gathered together to add depth to the piece.
 
Dikymia features a drawstring lace-up closure at the back for adjustability. For modesty variations, the piece can be customised upon request. Ruffled edging follows the seams, while an asymmetric chiffon drape wraps across the shoulder, adding softness.
 
Worn with the Kineo trousers, cut wide-legged, and languid, prioritising movement in both cut and conceptual origin. Made out of a fluid, olive-toned chiffon, Kineo forms delicate water-like flares that respond to the motion of the body. The lower hem is treated with tonal appliqué work in a cool blue-grey, abstracted from marine and botanical motifs taken from Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, and illustrated works that tie together with the Basra Tapestry. The embroidery’s placement at the base of the trousers to look like a puddle of water collected at the wearer’s feet as if they had just gotten out of the ocean, circling back to the reason the colour scheme was chosen.
