Schedios Set
Schedios, inspired by the Ancient Greek word for “improvised” or “makeshift.”
Our Schedios Corset reimagines classical corset construction through a printed illustration that deconstructs Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus. The structured silhouette features double boning, with each channel finished in stay-stitching inspired by traditional corset-making techniques. A series of buttons and loops finishes the front, complemented by eyelet lace-up detailing, while classic lacing at the back allows the fit to be adjusted. The neckline is edged with lace, adding a delicate finish to the corset’s structured form.
Schedios trousers feature a printed illustration that deconstructs Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, reimagining the painting across the surface of the garment. The artwork breaks away from the original composition, bringing its figures and details into a new form.
Cut in a relaxed, straight silhouette, the trousers fall loosely through the leg, balancing their structured lines with a draped section towards one side. This asymmetric detail adds movement to the shape, interrupting the straight fall of the fabric. The result is a reworking of a classical artwork through both print and form, allowing the familiar image to be seen in an entirely different way.
